Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 09/21/26
Welcome to Held & Preserved. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, placing an order, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please review these terms before using our website or placing an order.
About Held & Preserved
Held & Preserved creates handcrafted botanical jewelry and keepsakes using real flowers and other natural materials. We offer ready-to-wear pieces as well as custom preservation services.
Because our products are handmade and incorporate natural materials, no two pieces will be exactly alike.
Website Use
This website is provided for informational and shopping purposes.
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, or use its content for unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the website at any time.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our products, including their colors, materials, dimensions, and appearance.
However, colors may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, and individual screen settings.
Because real flowers and natural materials are used, variations in color, shape, texture, transparency, markings, and placement are expected and are not considered defects.
Handmade Products
Each Held & Preserved piece is individually handcrafted.
Small variations, including minor bubbles, botanical markings, variations in resin shape, flower placement, and other characteristics associated with handmade work may occur.
These differences contribute to the unique nature of each piece.
Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time without notice. A price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed and paid according to the agreed terms.
Applicable sales tax and shipping or delivery charges may be added where required.
Ready-to-Wear Orders
Ready-to-wear products are subject to availability.
Adding an item to your cart does not necessarily reserve the item until checkout has been completed and payment has been successfully processed.
Because many pieces are one of a kind, an identical replacement may not be available if an item sells out.
Custom Preservation Orders
Custom preservation pieces are created specifically for the individual client using their flowers, keepsakes, or selected materials.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their flowers, event dates, preferences, and design selections.
Held & Preserved will make reasonable efforts to create the agreed design, but natural flowers cannot be guaranteed to retain their exact original color, shape, size, or appearance during drying and preservation.
Final pieces may differ slightly from sketches, examples, photographs, or previously created pieces due to the unique nature of the customer's flowers and the handcrafted process.
Preservation of Flowers
Flowers are natural and sometimes unpredictable materials.
Drying and preservation may result in changes including fading, darkening, transparency, shrinkage, texture changes, spotting, or other natural alterations.
Some flowers may also arrive damaged or may be too deteriorated to preserve successfully.
Held & Preserved will use reasonable care when handling flowers but cannot guarantee that every flower or petal provided will be usable.
Preservation Fee & Custom Deposits
A preservation fee may be required to reserve a custom preservation order and begin handling and preserving the customer's flowers.
Additional deposits may be required before jewelry materials, findings, or custom components are purchased.
Preservation fees, deposits, cancellations, and refund eligibility are governed by our current Returns & Refunds Policy.
Customer-Supplied Flowers & Keepsakes
Customers understand that flowers and keepsakes submitted for preservation may be sentimental, unique, or irreplaceable.
While every reasonable effort will be made to handle these materials carefully, natural materials may deteriorate, break, discolor, or otherwise change during transportation, drying, handling, or preservation.
Customers should not send flowers or keepsakes to Held & Preserved until receiving instructions regarding how and where they should be delivered.
Completion Times
Estimated completion times are provided as a general guideline.
Custom preservation orders typically require additional time for drying, design, and creation. Because every project is different, completion dates are estimates rather than guarantees unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping, delivery, local pickup, tracking, damaged shipments, and related matters are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Please review that policy before placing an order.
Returns & Refunds
Returns, exchanges, cancellations, final-sale items, custom orders, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these policies.
Jewelry Care
Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided with their jewelry.
Damage caused by misuse, impact, improper storage, prolonged moisture exposure, excessive heat, chemicals, perfumes, lotions, or other outside factors may not be considered a workmanship defect.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the photographs, product designs, written content, branding, logos, graphics, and other original content displayed on this website belong to Held & Preserved and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, or used commercially without permission.
Customer Photos & Stories
Held & Preserved will not intentionally use a customer's personal story, photograph, or identifying information for promotional purposes unless appropriate permission has been provided.
Separate permission may be requested when we would like to feature a custom piece, story, testimonial, or photograph.
Website Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the website will always be free of technical errors.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Held & Preserved will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of this website or products purchased through it.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Our website may use third-party services, including website hosting, payment processing, shipping services, analytics tools, or other providers.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
